Privacy policy

Here you can learn which technical data is used when you visit this website and which external services are linked.

Responsible person

Lisa Lange, c/o Therapie Kreuzplatz, Kreuzplatz 16, 8008 Zurich, Switzerland. For privacy questions contact lisa.lange@therapiekreuzplatz.ch. This policy concerns lisalange.ch; treatment and patient records are also covered by the practice’s information.

Cookies, navigation and notices

Your previous page, reading position and booking-guide state are temporarily stored in your browser’s session storage. These details are not sent to Plausible. Your statistics choice is stored locally and honoured for up to 180 days. An expired choice is removed on the next page visit. It can be changed through “Privacy settings” in the footer. Google Analytics is not used.

Web analytics with Plausible Analytics

With your express permission, we use Plausible Analytics by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. It helps us understand which information is sought, how longer articles are used and how often visitors access appointment booking. The Plausible script does not load without your permission. The website and booking remain available if you decline.

We measure visitor numbers, pageviews, public pages and blog posts visited, and the referring domain if supplied by the browser, such as Google or Instagram. Only the fixed page URL without query parameters or fragments and the referring domain without path or parameters are transmitted. Visits without a referrer may appear as direct. Campaign parameters are not analysed.

Reading behaviour is represented by active elapsed milliseconds and the greatest scroll depth reached as a percentage. Timing pauses in hidden or unfocused tabs and after 90 seconds without pointer, touch, keyboard or scroll activity. No keys, pointer coordinates or form entries are recorded. Scroll depth concerns the entire page. These measurements do not prove that an article was read.

The event “Termin buchen: Klick” counts booking-button activations in the header, footer, treatment pages and booking guide. It includes the public page where the click occurred, but no destination URL, treatment choice, answers or booking details. Appointments are booked externally through Cenplex Booking. Plausible receives no booking confirmation from Cenplex. A click is not a completed appointment booking.

No patient names, contact details, individually entered diagnoses or form entries are sent to Plausible or linked to treatment records. However, medical page paths can reveal health interests. Connecting to Plausible technically exposes the IP address and browser identifier. According to Plausible, it derives browser/device categories, approximate location and a daily changing site-specific identifier, without storing raw IP addresses or raw browser identifiers. Event and session records are used for statistics. This is not a promise of complete anonymity.

Plausible does not use analytics cookies or persistent identifiers in your browser. Its daily identifier can group visits within a day; the associated random secret is deleted and replaced every 24 hours according to the provider. We do not use it to create identifiable patient or advertising profiles. Your locally stored privacy choice is separate.

Plausible acts as a data processor. According to its current information, visitor analytics are processed and stored within the EU on European infrastructure, with Germany named as the server location in its data processing agreement. Its infrastructure providers include Hetzner (Germany), UpCloud (Finland) and Bunny (Slovenia). This concerns Plausible visitor statistics, not necessarily all services on this website. See the data policy and data processing agreement. Provider privacy contact: privacy@plausible.io.

Retention of analytics data

Plausible is currently used on a trial without a paid subscription. Under its current terms, collection stops when a trial expires without a subscription. Existing statistics are deleted after advance notice unless a subscription is taken out. Plausible does not specify a fixed deletion deadline or final backup-removal period for this situation. We can delete statistics earlier. If a subscription is purchased, its chosen retention period must be added here. See the current service terms.

Your choice and rights

Optional analytics start only after you agree. Through “Privacy settings” you can decline or withdraw permission for future processing. Further transmissions are blocked and the page reloads. This does not automatically delete statistics already transmitted. The choice applies to this browser and device.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion and, where the legal conditions apply, objection, restriction or data portability. Contact Lisa Lange. As names are not linked to statistics, matching an individual statistic to a person can be limited. Please do not send diagnoses with privacy requests. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or a competent European supervisory authority.

Fonts

The website uses system fonts available on your device. No fonts are loaded from external providers to display the text.

External links and appointment booking

The embedded Google map loads only when you select “Open interactive map”. This connects your browser to Google and may transmit technical connection data such as your IP address. Without that choice, the map stays inactive. Instagram, the practice website, Cenplex Booking, app stores, network organisations and the separate Google Maps route open as external links only when selected. Each provider has its own privacy information. This website has no contact form.

Website hosting

This website is publicly available through Sites by OpenAI, using Cloudflare infrastructure for delivery and technical security. Technical access data, including IP address, requested address, time and browser information, may be processed independently of your statistics choice. Contractual hosting-log retention, processing locations and safeguards for possible international transfers have not yet been fully confirmed. Contact Lisa Lange for questions. Processing of all website data exclusively in Switzerland or the EU is therefore not assured.

Swiss and European data protection law

The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection is particularly relevant to this Swiss practice website. International accessibility alone does not automatically subject every processing activity to the GDPR. Targeting people in the EU or monitoring their behaviour may trigger additional obligations. Where the GDPR applies to optional analytics, the permission requested is intended as consent under Article 6(1)(a). Assessment of medical page interests, potential Article 9 requirements, express consent and whether an impact assessment is required needs separate legal review. This policy does not claim completed legal approval.
